Wiyaala featured on CNN’s ‘African Voices’

Wiyaala is an award-winning singer from Ghana who embodies the word strong African woman.

Call her the next Angélique Kpasseloko Hinto Hounsinou Kandjo Manta Zogbin Kidjo, commonly known as Angélique Kidjo. Wiyaala Noella is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter who is currently bagging all the endorsement deals in the country due to her creativity and hard work.

The young musician who recently released her new single “Africa” did not enjoy life at her tender age as most children in the nation’s capital and other cities in the country did. From a poor home somewhere in the northern part of Ghana, Wiyaala has become a household name in Ghana and some parts of Africa after releasing few songs.

Wiyaala was interviewed by CNN for their ‘African Voices’ feature.

CNN’s ‘African Voices’ highlights the continent’s most dazzling trendsetters who create their own subcultures in areas such as travel, fashion, art, music, technology and architecture.
